Pakistan Defeats USA in FIVB Boys’ U19 World Championship Playoff – Secures Chance for 13th Position
Tashkent, Uzbekistan – The Pakistan U19 Volleyball Team continued to demonstrate their fighting spirit at the FIVB Boys’ U19 World Championship 2025, defeating the USA by 3-1 in a thrilling playoff match for the 13–16 classification round. The set scores were 25-14, 22-25, 25-18, 25-23, showcasing Pakistan’s resilience and tactical brilliance on the world stage.
Pakistan registered a total of 97 points in the match, which included:
66 points from attack
10 points from blocking
5 points from serves
16 points from opponent errors
The star performers for Pakistan were Muhammad Yahya, who delivered an outstanding performance with 22 points, and Muhammad Saud, who contributed 15 points to secure the victory for the team.
With this win, Pakistan now moves on to compete for the 13th position in the tournament, marking a strong presence in their debut appearance at the FIVB U19 World Championship. The next and final match for Pakistan will be held on 03 August 2025, where the team will fight to finish at 13th position globally—a significant milestone in Pakistan’s volleyball history.
